Three established Devon day nurseries have sold for an undisclosed sum following a deal overseen by property advisors at Christie & Co.

Muddy Boots Childcare comprises Muddy Boots at the Barn and Muddy Boots at the Bungalow, both of which are in Exeter, and Muddy Boots at the Market in Tiverton.

They boast ‘outstanding’ and ‘good’ Ofsted ratings and, together, have the capacity for up to 140 children aged 0-4 years.

The business was founded by Phillipa Hill in 2018 and, following a confidential sales process with Rachel Godwin at Christie & Co, has now been purchased by iStep Learning.
