Nurserytime and Yellow Wellies has taken on the freehold of Blaydon Day Nursery in Tyne and Wear.

Occupying a valuable detached property in the town of Blaydon, the nursery operates with an effective capacity for 68 children.

The building has been modernised and converted to provide numerous spacious areas for the children across two floors, and is equipped to a high standard throughout.

The business has been purchased by experienced operator, Manoj Vadhera, and his growing nursery group, Nurserytime and Yellow Wellies.

He said: “We are incredibly excited to welcome Blaydon Day Nursery into the Nurserytime family.

“This acquisition aligns perfectly with our mission to nurture and inspire young minds in a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment.

“We are looking forward to building on the exceptional standards of care the nursery has established and continuing to provide outstanding early years education for our children.

“By joining Nurserytime’s existing eight nurseries, all based in the North East, Blaydon Day Nursery will benefit from our extensive resources and experience in early childhood education, ensuring that children and families receive the highest level of care and education.”

Nick Brown, Christie & Co’s director and head of brokerage for childcare and education, who oversaw the deal, adds: “This was a confidential sale and proved to be very popular with a number of existing operators who saw this setting as a fantastic addition to the nurseries they currently own.

“We were delighted to help owner Manoj and his team, which undoubtedly has further scope and potential for them to build on and explore.”
