KCP Nursery in Warwickshire has been sold to Kids Planet, which owns over 240 early years settings across the UK.

KCP Nursery is a children’s day nursery and out-of-school club situated on the site of Knightlow Primary School in the Warwickshire village of Stretton-on-Dunsmore.

The setting has been owned by Ruth Thompson since 2004 and was recently brought to market to allow her to retire.

Following a sales process with Jassi Sunner at Christie & Co, it has been sold to Kids Planet Day Nurseries.

Sunner said: “Under offer within eight days of going to market was a superb result for KCP Nursery.

“A total of 32 enquiries in that same period was challenging, but exactly the competitive tension we are seeing in the market.

“The process has been super-efficient and a great example of the demand for nurseries in the West Midlands at the moment.”

KCP Nursery was sold for an undisclosed price.
