Nursery group expands with Leeds acquisition
Headingley Montessori nursery in Leeds, West Yorkshire, has been sold to The Counting House Nurseries, a private day nursery group with three other settings in the region.
Established in September 2018, Headingley Montessori is a charming, well-presented, ‘Good’-rated day nursery with the capacity for up to 112 children aged 0-5 years.
The nursery is conveniently located in a densely-populated area, with signage visible from Cardigan Road, a busy commuter route that is just a 10-minute drive to Leeds city centre.
The setting has been part of The Yorkshire Montessori Nursery Ltd since its conception and was recently brought to market to allow the group’s owners to focus on its other settings.
Following a confidential sales process with Grace Day at Christie & Co, it has been sold to The Counting House Nurseries.
Anthony Lee, owner and director, said: “Headingly Montessori is a fantastic setting located in a spacious, detached building, filled with an abundance of character with a very welcoming atmosphere.
“The spacious rooms lend themselves to wonderful learning environments and this is closely aligned with our ethos in our existing group of nurseries, and I am really looking forward to welcoming the children and families into The Counting House at Headingley and working together moving forward.”
Montessori Nursery in Headingly was sold for an undisclosed price.
