Foundations Pre-School in Woking, Surrey, has been sold to existing operator, Laura Yearwood, who owns Gooseberry Bush Day Nursery in Gloucestershire.

Foundations Pre-School is a three-setting pre-school group which can accommodate up to 100 children.

The group was founded by Matt and Laura Styles in 2010 when the pair opened their first setting at St Peters Church.

As the demand for business grew, they took the opportunity to expand into two further settings nearby, priding themselves on creating a safe, nurturing, home-from-home environment with a Christian ethos that was part of the local community.

The settings have excellent local reputations which are reflected in their ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted ratings.

Following a confidential sales process with Sophie Willcox at Christie & Co, the settings have been sold to Yearwood.

Willcox said: “It was a pleasure working with Matt and Laura to find them a buyer to carry on their legacy.

“The pre-schools operate from either a church or a school premises and they are the perfect fit for a single-site owner.”

The three Foundations Pre-School settings were sold for an undisclosed price.
