Christie & Co has announced the sale of Junior Childcare, which comprises four day nursery settings across Kent.

Established in 2008, Junior Childcare is a successful group of four premium day nurseries which are locally renowned for providing exceptional, premium childcare from four sought-after locations in Tunbridge Wells, Cranbrook, Tonbridge, and Boughton Monchelsea.

Together, they provide care for up to 313 children.

The group was previously owned by Denise Fuller who has decided to sell to enjoy other ventures outside of the sector.

Following a confidential sales process with Sophie Willcox at Christie & Co, the group was sold to Happy Days Nurseries, which now owns 35 settings across the South and South West.

Willcox said: “This is yet another example of a leasehold group sale in the South which received several bids from an array of buyers.

“The South has been extremely active so far this year, and we don’t expect it to slow down.”

Junior Childcare was sold for an undisclosed price.
